Who We Are

MISAR is a specialist water Search and Rescue Organisation staffed and supported by volunteers operating out of Upton upon Severn in Worcestershire. Our purpose is to provide water rescue support in a range of situations from water sporting events to flood relief, and water rescue during periods of extreme weather conditions in the local and national area.

What We Do

MISAR provides specialised mobile support to the Severn community during times of flooding and adverse weather conditions, rescuing people and pets from areas affected by floods. MISAR also provides water rescue cover for specialist water events including triathlons, rowing events, regattas, Dragon Boat events and more.

Get Involved

Do you want to get involved? MISAR is a voluntary organisation and trains predominantly on a Thursday evenings and on Sunday mornings at Upton. If you have the dedication, time and commitment then come along to Upton Marina and drop in for information and a taster day, or call us on the contact number for further information.
